Buenafication day will always be my favorite tradition at Buena Vista University. It is an opportunity for Beavers (past, present, and future) to get involved in the Storm Lake community, or even their own communities at home. It builds new relationships for students to volunteer throughout their time at BVU, and beyond! Our mission is Education for Service and Buenafication Day is the perfect example of that. This year I’m transplanting seedlings and weeding our Master Gardener donation/teaching garden.
